Resurrection Sunday reminds us of the power of a comeback. It reminds me of dead things coming to life. Of silence turning into shouts of glory. And friend, just like Jesus walked out of the grave, you can walk out of delay, discouragement, and disbelief.
Your dreams aren’t dead. They’ve just been waiting on you.
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.”

Yes, that dream. The one you tucked away because life got loud. The one you stopped praying for because you got tired of waiting. The one that still visits your heart in the quiet. That dream is God-planted. And anything God plants, He intends to grow.
“But it’s just so hard to reignite that fire, Coach K!” Yeah, I hear you… And I’ve said the same thing to myself! That’s why I’m so grateful for being surrounded by fire starters and iron sharpeners! I promise, God provides exactly what you need in the season you need it.
So with that being said, here are three things that helped me resurrect my dreams, and I pray it does the same for you.
3 Ways to Resurrect That Dream Today:
Revisit it in prayer. Get still. Ask God: “Is this desire from You?” Then journal what you hear. Write the vision again—even if it seems impossible to you in this season, just remember… we serve a God who loves to do the impossible!
Release the pressure to be perfect. Resurrections don’t start pretty—they start in the dark. Don’t wait until it’s all figured out. Trust me… you’ll never have it ALL figured out, and even when you think you do, God loves a good plot twist! So, start with what you can do. Start scared. Start small. Start with one step today. Just start.
Reignite your soul. Dreams need a healthy soul to breathe. That’s why soul care isn’t luxury—it’s legacy. Give yourself permission to rest, realign, and receive what God has next.
